For over twenty-five years Dr. Karen Gardner has diligently worked and studied the mechanisms of breech and transverse presentations, pregnancy and delivery.
She is committed to empowering doctors of chiropractic and chiropractic students in developing and growing a pregnancy care practice by assisting and teaching how to safely and effectively address the special needs of pregnant women and their families.
Dr. Karen Gardner graduated from Life College in 1993. She has an extremely successful family practice where she focuses her attention on children and pregnant women. She is considered by many in her community to be a prenatal and pediatric care specialist, although she does care for the entire family.
In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Gardner teaches online continuing education (chirocredit.com), coaches chiropractors and students in private and group settings, has developed a technique and care protocol for pregnancy concerns and is a published author.
Among dozens of other locations, Dr. Gardner has guest lectured at The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia on the importance of Chiropractic care during pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period. Most recently she was invited to speak at the American Association of Birth Centers on Optimal Fetal Positioning at Penn State. Additionally, Dr. Karen has been invited to speak at the Philadelphia Conference for Midwifery Today Magazine, to present her expertise to the midwifery profession and is continually featured in chiropractic, pregnancy and midwifery publications.
